Well what can be said about this video series except differnt.
The basis for his story is that the criminals have become to strong so the police needed something new so they started using tanks. They do prove effective but they also cause a lot distruction. In the story the mayor and police cheif are constantly fighting over damage bills.
The story focuses on a new recruit Leona and her tank, which she treasures deeply. The main bad guy is Buaku and his assistaints Annapuna and Umipuma ( the cat sisters ). Considering that it is tank police the crimes are no the ussual, in the first part Buaku is stealing urine.The first series is very funny especially where they finally use the secert weapon in first part will make you laugh a lot.
Dominion started its life as a comic by M.Shirow, the creator of Appleseed and Ghost in the Shell. Unlke those stories Dominion is a comedy and at that a very funny one, in fact Phantom of the Audience was the first manga I ever read ( I previously did not know of manga and I had a great dislike of american comics so I never went into comic shop, it was quite by chance I found this title, I now read many manga but still hate american comics ).
You may notice that the second series scores less this is because it simply is not as origanal nor funny as the first series. Though the animation is better I perfered the art style and charecter designs of the first.
But still both are reccomended, it is just the first series is a must see.
